Whenever I eat out, and whether I’m travelling o Whenever I eat out, and whether I’m travelling or close to home... I take pictures of my food. No one ever sees most of them, so here’s my nachos from @gahanpub. Summer of 2019... and now I’m feeling kinda hungry 🤔 #gahanhouse #gahan #charlottetown #pei #goodeats #princeedwardisland #traveltalkcafe
Hiking Devil’s Bridge was definitely a highlight Hiking Devil’s Bridge was definitely a highlight of our Sedona visit last month! The hike at its longest is just under 6 miles, but we combined our hike with the road in and the Chuckwagon trail out and back to the Dry Creek Vista parking lot for an approximate 4.7 miles! A moderate hike with some rock scrambling nearer the top, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was fantastic and very doable... I couldn’t believe how many four legged friends tagged along with their owners 😁 But those views! And we got that most famous of photos, us on the arch! For my itinerary check the link in bio .... #devilsbridge #devilsbridgetrail #sedona #sedonaarizona #hikers #sedonahiking #visitsedona #sedonaaz #arizonahiking #hiking #hikingtrails #traveltalkcafe

Sometimes... Road trips go wrong. We take road tri Sometimes... Road trips go wrong. We take road trips for my son’s hockey and a couple of weekends ago it went terribly wrong. I debated posting about it but decided to do so because not every trip taken is perfect... sometimes things happen and don’t go the way we planned. In this case, we were following my son’s motor coach bus on a 5-6 hour trip. We came into some bad weather and messy roads. Long story short, I watched my son’s bus slide off the highway into a 10 foot ditch and turn over on its side, still sliding... this was honestly one of the most frightening and emotional things I’ve dealt with concerning my kids and travelling, and I’ve not been able to do this post until now. Thankfully they were all ok and no major injuries. So thankful to the RCMP, and all the other first responders, and the town of Port Hawkesbury, who were there to look after us all. The photo is of our crossing the Canso Causeway, the winds were strong and the ocean waves would crash across the road leaving pooling water. Safe travels! #roadtripgonewrong #winterweather #thankful #movingforward #traveltalkcafe #porthawkesbury #rcmp
